Science on Tap, local New River Valley science communication event program, presents the "Geology and Groundwater of the Blacksburg Area" event on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Rising Silo Brewery.

Join us as we explore the groundwater ecology of Blacksburg with Erin Ling and Olivia Coutré with an interactive discussion of our local landscape and where our water comes from.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Science on Tap - New River Valley is a monthly event with science-inspired speakers, performers, and discussions. We support bringing science to our community and our community’s support to local research.

We kick off the event with games, comedy, or other fun things. Then, an invited guest researcher demos their research. And then we'll discuss, ask questions, learn together and mingle.
