The Pembroke Library presents Poetry with Spectral Arts, Soupbone and guests on Thursday, October 3, 2024.

Enjoy poetry and music by Spectral Arts and special guests and bring your own poetry to share.

Spectral Arts formed in the winter of 2007 in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and combines live acoustic music with poetry that is both spoken and sung. The Appalachian band features regular band members as well as local guests. The music and poetry have been described as transcendental and embodying a beautiful, as well as an ethereal, visionary quality.

Soupbone's solo show is a raw mix of original indie blues rock and some funky covers about good times, with attempts to immortalize some of his friends and foes through song.
