The School of Performing Arts presents the play "POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive" with six performances starting on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 through Saturday, October 5, 2024 inside the Squires Studio Theatre on the campus of Virginia Tech.

"POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive" by playwright Selina Fillinger is a riotous comedy about the women in charge of the man in charge of the free world. Fillinger's brilliant, all-female farce took Broadway by storm in a star-studded production that earned three 2022 Tony nominations.

A derogatory comment, a summit gone awry, an anal abscess — it’s a bad day at the White House. When the President unwittingly spins a PR nightmare into a global crisis, the seven women he most relies upon risk their careers, families, and freedom to save the day. Selina Fillinger’s female farce, "POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive," is a riotous and irreverent look at sex and politics.

Tickets are $15.00 for the general public and $12.00 for seniors, students and youth.
