Biography:
subtext is a collaborative effort committed to celebrating deep, dark, minimal electronica in Blacksburg, VA.
subtext is focused on presenting an eclectic range of sounds not typically represented in our area. Our focus is on deep, dark, minimal, and intelligent sounds in dubstep, house, garage, and drum & bass.
We are not interested in festival-style "EDM" or Top 40 poptronica. We aren't trying to make the biggest noise or play the biggest bangers. Instead, we are trying to create a space for the appreciation of atmosphere and bass weight.
