Blacksburg Parks and Recreation presents a Canoeing Fundamentals Class on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM with the registration deadline on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 meeting at the Blacksburg Community Center. Ideal for the beginner or old pros who want to advance their canoeing skills. Build on the fundamentals and learn some new skills only learned in a river environment. Equipment will be provided or bring your own. Participants will meet at the Blacksburg Community Center then participants will follow the instructor in their own vehicles to the New River. The cost is $30.00 for Blacksburg residents and $40.00 for non-Blacksburg residents.
