Eastern Divide Brewing presents a Charity Pint Night for NRV Cares on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Eastern Divide would like to extend our reach by giving back to those in need in our community. One dollar of every pint sold will be donated to benefit a local non-profit, local group or cause that greatly impacts the New River Valley. We want to invite our guests to join us in the spirit of doing good while drinking well. NRV CARES is an organization in the New River Valley that provides child advocacy, resources, education and services. Our program areas include CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Parent Education including Parenting Young Children Courses, Circle of Parents Support Group, Parenting Through Separation and Divorce Seminars, and Parenting workshops and Community Education programs ("Hugs and Kisses" plays, Stewards of Children trainings, the Pinwheels for Prevention campaign to increase awareness of child abuse/neglect, events for the community concerning child welfare issues, and many more). NRV CARES’ mission is to strengthen families and protect children with a vision of our NRV free of child abuse.
