Vittles for Vets presents the 4th Annual Vittles For Vets Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, July 10, 2021 with a registration deadline of Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Thorn Spring Golf Course in Pulaski, VA. Enjoy a fun day of golf while helping a great local cause! The tournament has a shotgun start at 1:00 PM and lunch will be provided. The first place team will receive $500, second place $300 and third place $200. There will also be prizes for the ball closest to the pin prize and the longest drive. The cost is $65.00 per player or $260.00 per team. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Vittles for Vets was founded in December 2014 by veterans for veterans. It's sole purpose is to distribute gift food cards on a weekly basis in the amount of $50.00 to qualifying veterans. To qualify a veteran must have been discharged from the military with a discharge other than dishonorable, must be drug free and not dependent on alcohol and must be at or below the Federal poverty level. The card must be used for the purchase of wholesome, nutritious food products only.
