Gillie's presents Dinner & Music with Lauren Farrar on Friday, October 22, 2021. Enjoy outdoor dinner, drinks and singer songwriter Lauren Farrar. Lauren is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Virginia Beach, Virginia. She has an acoustic style and enjoys covering artists like John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, Jimmy Buffet, and Taylor Swift. Lauren has performed at venues in Georgia, Virginia, and North Carolina. ?Lauren has a degree in music from Virginia Tech, and has been heavily involved in the arts since picking up her first guitar at the age of 9. In high school, Lauren took home an All-State Actress award in the 2013 Virginia Theater Association state conference, and performed in musicals with the Nansemond River Performing Arts Company. At Virginia Tech, she sang with the Virginia Tech Chamber Singers, put on junior and senior recitals, and conducted her undergraduate research in the field of intellectual property in the arts.
