Jessie Peterman Library presents Gardening with Native Plants: Quick and Dirty on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Join us as Ian Caton, of Wood Thrush Native Plant Nursery, gives us a quick introduction to the basics of gardening using native plants. We will discuss “What is a native plant?”, “Why should they be used?”, and “How does using them differ from any other plant?”. We will also profile a selection of “easy-to-grow” native plants appropriate for any garden situation.
