Description: The Montgomery County ACCE (Access to Community Education) program presents the 2022 Race for ACCE 5k and Children's Fun Run on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Blacksburg High School's Cross Country Track.

Event Schedule:
• 9:00 AM: 5k Run/Walk
• 10:00 AM: Kids Fun Run
• ~10:30 AM: Awards Ceremony to Follow

The Race for ACCE is back in person this year! All proceeds benefit the Montgomery County ACCE (Access to Community Education) program for Montgomery County High School graduates and home-schooled graduates with a 2.5 GPA or higher and willingness to provide 80 hours of annual community service to attend New River Community College.

Registration includes a race t-shirt. Those who register by July 8th will have their t-shirt by race weekend.

Registration is $25.00 for individuals. There is also a family discount for three or more runners of $60.00. And, the Children's Fun Run is $10.00.

Registration is available online, in-person on Friday, August 5th from 4:00-6:00 PM at Blacksburg High School or the morning of the race.

Runabout Sports has generously donated gift cards for the top three male and female finishers. New River Engraving has generously donated awards for the top two runners in each age group as well as finisher ribbons for all fun run participants.

ACCE is a public / private partnership that makes attending New River Community College available tuition-free to as many Montgomery County Public School graduates as possible who meet the criteria.
