JBR Vineyards LLC presents their Fourth Annual Paw Paw Celebration on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Celebrate a great harvest of paw paws! Enjoy this only North American native fruit found only in Appalachia and just so happened to be George Washington's favorite dessert. And, one of the ways Mary Draper Ingles survived on the long way home was by eating paw paws. Check out our own nascent paw paw patch (way down yonder below the vineyard). We also harvested some paw paws this year from a couple of trees in our yard at home and froze them and they will be available for tasting. Also, taste our 2021 wine vintage which is excellent. Admission and Paw Paw Tasting are free. Wine Tasting is $5.00. Glasses of wine are $5.00 and bottles of wine range from $10.00-$20.00 + tax.
