The Town of Floyd presents The Official Tree Lighting of Floyd, Virginia on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Warren G. Lineberry Memorial Park. Join us as we officially light our community Christmas Tree! There will be hot cocoa, s'mores, an ornament workshop for children, photos with Santa, and musical performances by the Floyd County High School Choir and the Floyd Baptist Church Handbell. The State Champion Floyd County High School Golf Team and Cross-Country State Champion Mason Erchull will be the honorary tree lighters. Admission is free and all are welcome. We will also be collecting non-perishable food items that will be distributed to local food banks. The event kicks off at 5:00 PM with the ceremonial tree lighting at 6:00 PM.
