The Virginia Tech Women's Basketball team, the #1 seed in the Seattle 3 region, hosts opponent 9th seed South Dakota State in the second round of the 2023 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament on Sunday, March 19, 2023 in Cassell Coliseum. The ACC Champion Hokies are the #1 seed of the Seattle 3 Region and therefore get to host the first two rounds of the 2023 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament. General admission tickets are $16.00 for adults and $8.00 for youth under 18 and students. The game is sold out and tickets are available on the secondary market such as StubHub.com at https://www.stubhub.com/ncaa-women-s-tournament-blacksburg-tickets/grouping/150059161/. Complimentary parking will be available for all games in lots 1 (Cassell) and 5 (Chicken Hill). Parking will be first-come, first-served. Doors open 90 minutes prior to tip-off. Virginia Tech will limit fans to one clear plastic bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches or a one-gallon, clear, resealable plastic storage bag per person. Fans are also allowed a small clutch purse not to exceed 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. Wallets must also conform to this size requirement. No other bags will be allowed inside. All items, including clear bags and clutch purses, are subject to search at the gates. No items can be left or stored at the gates.
