The Pearisburg Junior Woman’s Club (PJWC) will be hosting the Junior Jamboree on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the Pearisburg Community Center. Schedule of Events: • 8:00 AM: Donut Dash Day of Registration begins • 9:00 AM: Donut Dash begins • 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM: Junior Jamboree Vendor & Craft Show with Food Trucks Enjoy a great family event to start summer off right! Enjoy donuts, exercise, and summertime fun with the Donut Dash to kick off the Junior Jamboree followed by the Junior Jamboree Vendor & Craft Show along with Food Trucks. The PJWC Junior Jamboree will include a Donut Dash beginning at 9:00 AM in front of the basketball courts. Participants stroll along the beautiful park trail with tasty donut stops along the way. They will make their way to the pavilion where gourmet donuts and coffee await along with a prize for each participant. Tickets are $5.00 for children, $15.00 for adults and $40.00 for a family pack which includes two adult tickets and up to four child tickets. Registration begins at 8:00 AM. All proceeds from the Donut Dash will help fund future community service projects through PJWC. At 11:00 AM, artists, crafters and food trucks will be set up on the lawn and in the gym of the community center. Participating vendors include food trucks Simple Fixins, Doe Dees, Bubba’s Barn and more. Participating artists, crafters, community organizations, and businesses include Relay for Life, Handmade by Debbie, Fffudge and Stufff, Sunshine Studios, Paparazzi Jewelry, Dreama with K & D Crafts, Whimsical Goddess Jewelry and Giftables, Ray Gems, Wolf Creek Mountain Soap, Scentsy, The Craftie Hippie, Little Monsters Boutique, RAD Comics, Feathered Darlin’ Boutique, Watercolor by Faye Brown, Robin’s Nest Creation and More, Piece by Piece Crafts, Mary Kay, ColorStreet, and other local artisans. Admission to the Junior Jamboree is free and open to the public. The Pearisburg Junior Women's Club encourages volunteerism in club and civic events, aiding the community and educating members about public, state and worldwide issues and promoting self growth.
