The Rotary Club of Floyd County presents their 4th Annual Rotary Dog Show on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at the Warren G. Lineberry Memorial Park in Floyd, VA. Event Schedule: • 12:15 PM: Registration for Dogs • 1:00 PM: Dog Show begins Does your dog have the Waggiest Tail or Best Bark? Want to find out? Bring your dog, puppy, and/or faithful canine friend to compete in one or more of the dog show classes and ribbons will be awarded for each class. The Dog Show Judge is Roger Slusher, breeder of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Classes for Dog Show: • Best Tail • Best Coat • Best Treat Catcher • Best Smile • Best Eyes • Best Owner-Dog Look-a-Like Contest • Best Trick • Cutest Puppy Under One Year Old • Best Bark • Best Mixed Breed Dog • Best Purebred Dog • Best Child Handler Under 12 Years Old • Dog Judge Would Most Like To Take Home The cost of entry is $5.00 per class and ribbons will be awarded. All dogs must should be on a short leash and up to date on vaccinations. The Humane Society will also have a table and possibly dogs to adopt. Adults and children ages 9 and older are welcome to participate with their dog in the various classes. Spectators are also welcome and encouraged to donate. Proceeds will be used to help build a dog park in Floyd. In case of rain, the rain date is Sunday, June 12th. Warren G. Lineberry Memorial Park is located at 284 S. Locust Street in Floyd, VA.
