Jessie Peterman Library presents Literature in the Garden with the Junior Master Gardeners on Monday, June 5, 2023. Do you have a child between the ages of 8-11? Are they interested in gardening? The theme for this program is Literature in the Garden. Each weekly session will be built around a hands on lesson in our sensory garden along with the reading of a children's picture book. This volunteer led program will instill gardening knowledge and a love of reading to the group's participants. Admission is free though registration is required. We will meet each week from 2:00-3:00 PM to learn about different aspects of gardening. This program will take place in our community room and in our sensory garden.
