The NRV Tree Rescuers holds their Third Friday Workday on Friday, April 19, 2024 meeting at the Blacksburg Library. Would you like to help rescue mature trees from premature decline and death caused by invasive vines? Volunteers will help remove invasive vines from trees on Town land. For the April 19th workday, meet us in the Clay Street parking lot of Blacksburg Library. Wear gloves and closed toe shoes. Bring clippers or loppers if you have them, but we will have some extras. Note: The event will be canceled in the event of precipitation, high winds or high temperatures of 40 or below. Blacksburg Library is located at 200 Miller Street in Blacksburg, VA.
