The Radford Public Library presents their Tree Lighting Ceremony 2024 on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Join us once again for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, a community centered event! Pick up a hot chocolate at Space Rabbit. The Lamplighters have funded the cost for Space Rabbit cocoa. Come inside to see Santa and make crafts for kids. The Grove United Methodist Church Handbell Choirs will begin playing at 5:45 PM and will lead children in playing holiday songs with mini bells at 6:00 PM. After the Handbell Choir plays, we'll head out to light the tree. The Wilderness Road Chorus will lead us in songs as we light the tree with Santa. Guests won't be able to park in the library lot, but Radford Transit will offer rides from the high school parking lot to the library lot for free. Radford Transit will run continuously from 5:00-7:00 PM. We're looking forward to celebrating with you! Admission is free and all are welcome. The library will be closed until doors open at 5:00 PM for Tree Lighting Festivities. Radford Public Library is located at 30 West Main Street in Radford, VA.
