Claytor Lake State Park presents a Wildflower Walk on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Bloodroot, Dutchman's Breeches, Cutleaf Toothwort, oh my! These are the names of common spring ephemeral plants, or... spring wildflowers! Join our rangers on a hike to Claytor Lake Overlook to see what flowers are blooming before they go dormant for the summer. The trail is about 1.5 miles long so good walking shoes and water are recommended. The event is free, but the $7.00 state park parking fee still applies per each vehicle. Claytor Lake State Park is located at 6620 Ben H. Bolen Drive in Dublin, VA.
