Claytor Lake State Park presents the program "Friday Night Fishing" on Friday, June 5, 2026. Join the rangers for a short discussion of fishing techniques, and then we'll cast our lines. This event is for beginners as well as accomplished fisherman. A valid Virginia freshwater fishing license is required for those 16 years old or older. All supplies will be provided by the park. The event is free, but the $7.00 state park parking fee per vehicle still applies. Claytor Lake State Park is located at 6620 Ben H. Bolen Drive in Dublin, VA.
