The Virginia Tech Police presents their annual Hot Dog Luncheon for Special Olympics Virginia on Thursday, May 21, 2026 on the South Concourse of Lane Stadium. UPDATE: Due to the forecasted rain, the located has changed from the Virginia Tech Safety Building to the South Concourse of Lane Stadium. Join us for a sizzling good time at the Virginia Tech Police Department's Hot Dog Luncheon supporting a cause close to our hearts, Special Olympics Virginia! Not only will you enjoy a mouthwatering lunch, but your participation will also make a meaningful impact. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit Special Olympics Virginia, helping athletes of all abilities reach their full potential through sports training and competition. Enjoy a hot dog meal featuring two hot dogs, chips, dessert and a drink for $8.00 or hot dogs, chips, desserts and drinks will be available for purchase individually from the a la carte menu. Hot dogs are $3.00 each and chips, drinks & dessert are $1.50 each. Cash, credit cards or checks made out to Special Olympics Virginia will be accepted for payment. So bring your appetite, your friends, and your generosity! Let's come together as a community to support a fantastic cause and enjoy some tasty treats along the way.
