Junior Appalachian Musicians Montgomery County (MJAM) presents their Spring Student Showcase on Monday, May 18, 2026 at the Christiansburg Presbyterian Church. Join us for a celebration of another successful semester of Montgomery County Junior Appalachian Musicians at our Spring showcase! We'll feature our students' musical achievements and more including a look at the quilt they are designing! We'll also have the drawing for our spring raffle with great two great prizes: a handmade quilt and a wooden Adirondack chair. There will be a reception after the concert with light refreshments. MJAM began in 2018 by a group of community leaders from Montgomery County Tourism, Montgomery County Museum, Ignite College, and local musicians and parents. It is held after school on Monday afternoons from 4:00–6:00 PM at the Montgomery Museum of Art and History, and is available for children in grades 4-8. The program teaches fiddle, clawhammer banjo, guitar and offers a variety of enrichment activities, as well. Admission is free and open to the public. Christiansburg Presbyterian Church is located at 107 West Main Street in Christiansburg, VA.
