JBR Vineyards in Giles County, Virginia presents Pruning the Vines on Saturday, February 6, 2021.

The pruning of the vines is the major vineyard task during winter. While dormant, the vines must be severely pruned to assure a great growing season. We will start pruning February 6th and we are inviting all of you to come to see how it's done.

While with us, you can also see the winery including last year's produce in bulk storage, taste our wines, and get some fresh air.

If someone has a strong desire, he/she may prune a vine or two. In general pruning is done by trained personnel under close supervision.

The event is free to attend.

Wine tasting $1.00 is per taste, $5.00 per glass, bottle prices vary from $10.00-$25.00 plus tax. Cash or check only please.

Be assured COVID guidelines will be followed.
