Description:
SEEDS presents Tap for Sap, a two part event, for kids ages 10-18 on Saturday, February 13, 2021 and Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Price House Nature Center.

Two-Part Schedule:
• Saturday, February 13th, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm: Lesson & Tap Trees
• Saturday, February 27th, 2:00-4:00 pm, Syrup Boil & Celebration

Enjoy a two-part Tap for Sap event including lesson and tap trees and a syrup boil and celebration with ice cream and fresh syrup on the final day of the event.

The event is hosted by Dr. Tom Hammett of the Virginia Tech Department of Sustainable Biomaterials and Dr. Mike Rosenzweig of the Virginia Tech Department of Biological Sciences.

The event is limited to 10 individuals and registration is required. Participants must be between the ages of 10-18.
