The YMCA at Virginia Tech presents the 1st Annual Try Y's Pi with the ticket purchase deadline of Tuesday, March 9, 2021 and pie sampler pick-up on Saturday, March 13, 2021 between 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Join us for the 1st annual YMCA at Virginia Tech "Try Y's Pi" in partnership with Our Daily Bread, Blacksburg Bagels, Next Door Bake Shop, and Bollo's Cafe & Bakery and vote for your favorite pie!

Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter “p”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant, the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter, which is approximately 3.14159. Pi Day is an annual opportunity for math enthusiasts to recite the infinite digits of Pi, talk to their friends about math, and to eat pie.

We can help with the eating pie part! Celebrate Pi Day with our delicious four-piece pie sampler! Order your ticket to purchase your pie sampler from four of Blacksburg's best bakeries!

Tickets are $20.21 per sampler with $1.50 in fees and are limited.

After you eat your pie, make sure to vote online. Voters will be entered to win great prizes! Voting for your favorite pie opens on Sunday, March 14th at 10:00 am.

Proceeds from the event will support the YMCA at Virginia Tech's local programs including Meals On Main, Senior Connections and so much more.

Pie must be collected from the YMCA Thrift Shop on Saturday, March 13, 2021 between 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.
