The Women's Center at Virginia Tech presents The Clothesline Project Display on the sidewalk on College Avenue in downtown Blacksburg, VA on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 and Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Clothesline Project Display raises awareness of gender-based violence. Survivors of violence, and friends and families of victims, create shirts emblazoned with direct messages and strong illustrations. The shirts demonstrate the pain and suffering of the survivors, aid in their healing process, and celebrate their strength and courage to overcome the past.
Rain dates are Tuesday, March 30th and Wednesday, March 31st.
