Jersey Mike's Subs in Blacksburg, VA presents Jersey Mike's Day of Giving to benefit the Habitat for Humanity NRV on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

Jersey Mike's in Blacksburg will donate 100% of the proceeds to Habitat for Humanity NRV.

More than 1,520 Jersey Mike’s locations across the country are joining forces with more than 200 local charities for the company’s 9th Annual Month of Giving fundraising campaign. Last year’s Month of Giving raised more than $6 million for local charities nationwide, and this year Jersey Mike’s wants to break last year’s record-setting total.

Habitat for Humanity NRV serves Floyd, Giles, Montgomery and Pulaski counties and Radford City. We work side by side with our neighbors to build safe and affordable housing which helps communities to thrive. One in three households in our service area is “cost-burdened” – paying over 30% of monthly income to cover housing costs. Habitat NRV helps families free themselves from this statistic. These families are building and buying their homes at cost, with a low- or no- interest mortgage. We control the cost of our homes with donated materials and volunteer labor. Everyone needs a foundation to build a better future.
