Virginia Tech Relay For Life presents the 2021 Survivor & Caregiver Drive-Thru Celebration on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Virginia Tech’s Oak Lane community.

While we cannot celebrate together this year due to COVID-19, Relay For Life at VT is still determined to honor and celebrate survivors and caregivers.

Survivors, caregivers, and their families can sign up for the event (using the link provided below). More information will be shared after signing up. We encourage participants to decorate their cars, roll down their windows, and wave to Hokies as they make their way around Oak Lane, a designated loop. Oak Lane will be decorated and lined with socially distant and masked Hokies cheering you all on! At the end of the route, participants will receive a goodie bag through contactless delivery.

Safety is our #1 priority. There will be no physical contact between participants and Hokie students and other volunteers. Masks must be worn at all times by both participants and volunteers (who will also be socially distanced).

Relay For Life at Virginia Tech is a community-wide, campus-based movement dedicated to eliminating cancer by living out our motto, "Ut Prosim" (That I May Serve) as we strive to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society.

At Virginia Tech, our Relay is the largest collegiate event in the nation and has been since 2009. We are setting milestones and will continue to be leaders in this movement until we find a cure.
