Motor Mile Speedway continues their 2021 season with the Late Model Stock Car Twin 60's and with The Southern Ground Pounders on Sunday, April 25, 2021 with the grandstands opening at 2:00 PM and the green flag for the first race starting at 3:30 PM.

UPDATE: Due to expected inclement weather the race has been moved from Saturday, April 24th to Sunday, April 25th.

• Twin 60 Lap Races for Late Model Stock Car
• Sportsman 40 Lap Race
• Super Streets 25 Lap Race

• U-Car's 20 Lap Race
• Southern Pounders Race

Racing is back at Motor Mile Speedway! Join us and watch the races including The Southern Ground Pounders who will visit and compete.

The Southern Ground Pounders Vintage Racing Club is based in Virginia and the Carolinas and is one of the oldest and most respected vintage racing organizations on the East Coast. The Southern Ground Pounders race vintage modified and vintage sportsman cars from the 1950s to the 1980s.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate or in advance online at: https://www.motormilespeedway.com/tickets.

Races are subject to change and can be cancelled due to the weather.

Parking is free.

The new capacity guidelines from the state of Virginia allows us to have 30% capacity which means we can put 3,000 people in the stands and still keep everyone well spread out and distanced.

If you would like to come for opening day, but are concerned about distancing please consider our new backstretch parking which will allow guests to stay close to the action and safely in your car.

Cooler Policy:
For regular race events only, Motor Mile Speedway permits ONE (1) soft-sided, six-pack-sized cooler per ticket holder, regardless of age. Spectators in possession of a cooler will be subject to a reasonable, unintrusive search of the cooler, and Motor Mile Speedway reserves the right to prohibit any cooler for any reason based on the discretion of the front gate staff. No glass permitted. No liquor permitted.
