The Council of International Student Organizations (CISO) at Virginia Tech presents the 2021 Virtual International Street Fair online on Sunday, April 25, 2021.

The Virtual International Street Fair is an opportunity to celebrate cultural diversity at Virginia Tech. Enjoy dance performances, cooking demonstrations and cultural conversations!

A dozen organizations have created media to help you learn more about countries around the globe. Their videos and photos, which include dance performances and cooking demonstrations, will be available starting on Friday, April 23rd. On Sunday, the organizations will hold virtual events.

Schedule of Events:
• 12:00-1:00 PM: Kahoot Quiz and Discussion, Brazilian Student Association

• 12:00-1:00 PM: Q&A Personal Relationships with Israel and Common Misconceptions, Friends of Israel

• 12:00-1:00 PM: "Meet Your Indian Mates" - Discussion of Making a Smooth Transition to the U.S., Indian Students Association

• 12:00-2:00 PM: Hokm (Iranian card game) and Backgammon Demonstrations, Tarof (civility and social etiquette) Discussion, Iranian Student Society

• 12:00-4:00 PM: Dance Demo, Kahoot Quiz, and Discussion, Latino Association of Student Organizations

• 12:00-6:00 PM: Study Abroad 101 (12 1p.m.) and open Q&A on Zoom, Jeopardy-style Trivia throughout the day, Global Education Office

• 12:00-6:00 PM: Instagram story trivia about Latin American countries, Latin American and Iberian Graduate Students Association

• 12:15-12:45 PM: Raqs Sharqi ("bellydance") Trivia and Discussion, Hill and Veil

• 1:00-2:00 PM: Kahoot Quiz and Discussion, Cedars of Lebanon, Code for Kahoot will be on their Instagram between 12:50-1 p.m.

• 2:00-3:00 PM: Turkish Coffee Hour (advanced registration required), Turkish Student Association

• 5:00-6:00 PM: Cooking Desi (Shahi Tukra), Association for India's Development
