Blacksburg Parks and Recreation presents a Mountain Biking Basics on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 12:00 to 4:00 pm with the registration deadline on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 meeting at Pandapas Pond upper parking lot.

Tired of watching videos of other people mountain biking? Have you been wanting to learn the skills needed to shred the mountain, but don’t know where to begin? Let us show you the path and get you hooked on this great outdoor activity.

Bring your bike, helmet, and let’s do this attitude and let us take care of the rest.

The cost is $20.00 for Blacksburg residents and $30.00 for non-Blacksburg residents.

Note: Participants must bring a fully functioning and safe mountain bike to the program. Please have one of the local bike shops check it before the start of the program.

The registration deadline is on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 by 5:00 pm.

Participants must be 11 years or older.
