Description:
The Kiwanis Club of Montgomery County - Blacksburg presents the 19th Annual Kiwanis Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Auburn Hills Golf Club.

The golf tournament is back after a year off from COVID. This is the Club's largest fundraiser each year. The golf tournament is a four person, captain's choice tournament with a shotgun start at 9:00 AM. Individuals may register and be assigned to a team or you can sign up as a team of four. Many great prizes will be awarded during the tournament!

The cost is $90.00 per individual or $360.00 per team.

Lunch will be provided. Mulligans will be available at registration. There will also be a 50/50 raffle.

Sponsorships are also available starting at $100.

The Kiwanis Club stocks food pantries for at risk Pre-K students at 2 elementary schools, reads to kids, donated $7,500 for the purchase of playground equipment for younger grades at one school, supply parents of newborn and young children with ID kits, purchase books for at risk pre-school children at 10 schools, purchase gifts for 35-40 Christmas angels, contribute to Montgomery County Social Services child abuse and foster care, the Salvation Army (also volunteering as Bell Ringers), support the Montgomery County Christmas Store and Women’s Resource Center, sponsor Key Club at Blacksburg High School and Circle K at Virginia Tech, assist with Special Olympics basketball tournament, and donate to Scouts BSA and Boys/Girls State.

The Kiwanis Club is a non-profit global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.

The Kiwanis Club of Montgomery County-Blacksburg was formed on February 1, 1997 through the merger of the Kiwanis Club of Montgomery County and the Kiwanis Club of Blacksburg.
