The Alexander Black House & Cultural Center presents Lunch on the Lawn on Friday, June 4, 2021.

Everyone is invited to bring a blanket or chairs and pack their lunch, get a takeout from a local restaurant or visit our onsite food truck and enjoy activities at the Museum.

Activities include:
• Music on the Porch by Indian Run String Band
• Storytelling for Children by Julia Fallon
• Create Your Own Succulent Container Garden
• Food Truck by Hethwood Market
• “Make Your Move” Challenge Signup, collect a Swag Bag, and learn more about NVBA, Blacksburg Striders, Friends of the Huckleberry Trail, and ROAM NRV

In addition, a special Sixteen Squares Tour with Hugh Campbell will be held at 10:00 AM. Registration is required by calling 540-443-1600.

The Blacksburg Museum and Cultural Foundation is re-opening for regular hours starting on June 1st. The Alexander Black House and Cultural Center features nine individual exhibits inside and out along with our permanent exhibit of African American heritage at St. Luke and Odd Fellows Hall. www.blacksburghistory.org
