Description:
Vittles for Vets is teaming up with Gearheads for a Cause to present a Benefit Ride and 50/50 Raffle on Saturday, May 29, 2021 starting and finishing at the Pulaski Church of God.

The route is 84 miles and takes participants from Pulaski Church of God in Pulaski to Route 460 in Pearisburg, through Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Radford, Dublin and back to Pulaski Church of God. All vehicles are welcome including bikes, cars, trucks, jeeps, etc. If it's legal to drive on the road, bring it!

The cost is $15.00 for a single rider and $5.00 for each additional rider.

Proceeds will benefit Vittles for Vets, an organization that helps to feed those who have fought for us and have fallen on hard times.

Food will be available for lunch. Lunch is $5.00 per person and will consist of BBQ, slaw, baked beans, chips, a drink and dessert.

Registration starts at 8:00 AM and kick stands up at 9:30 AM.

Vittles for Vets was founded in December 2014 by veterans for veterans. It's sole purpose is to distribute gift food cards on a weekly basis in the amount of $50.00 to qualifying veterans.

To qualify a veteran must have been discharged from the military with a discharge other than dishonorable, must be drug free and not dependent on alcohol and must be at or below the Federal poverty level. The card must be used for the purchase of wholesome, nutritious food products only.
