Blacksburg Wine Lab presents a Vermouth & Aromatized Wine Class on Wednesday, June 23, 2021.
Jake Parrot, the national sales manager for Haus Alpenz, an importer/distributor of aperitif/aromatized wines, will be speaking at the Wine Lab.
Jake is an expert on aperitif/aromatized wines, and will be teaching us all about them, as we taste through six, ranging from Vermouth to a Banyul. The tasting also includes tapas perfectly paired with each wine. Learn about aromatized wines (one of the most exciting and fasting growing segments of the wine industry!) and how all the different elements (citrus, bitters, herbs, soda water, alcohol, etc) of cocktail crafting converge to create killer concoctions
