Mountain Lake Lodge presents their 2021 Independence Day Celebration with Fireworks and Music from The Mike Mitchell Band on Friday, July 2, 2021.

Event Schedule:
• 6:30-9:00 PM: Live Music from The Mike Mitchell Band
• 9:30 PM: Fireworks Show begins

Enjoy live music from The Mike Mitchell Band, a BBQ meal available for purchase on the lawn followed by a spectacular fireworks show!

Mike Mitchell is a singer and songwriter from Floyd, VA specializing in the fiddle and violin. Mike plays traditional and contemporary bluegrass music in the southwest Virginia area.

With his effortless vocals, distinctive songwriting, and instrumental prowess, Mike continues to capture audiences and carve out his own place in bluegrass.

Educated at the Western Conservatory of Music in Ontario, Canada, Mike Mitchell began playing the violin at the age of five. His passion for music led him to a string performance major at Youngstown State University, and more than 10 years of national touring with rock and acoustic ensembles.

Aditionally, Mike performs with the acclaimed mountain music group, Blue Moonshine, and Floyd Time.

A BBQ meal on the lawn will be available for purchase prior to the fireworks starting. The BBQ meal is cash only. Alcohol will be available for purchase inside Mountain Lake Lodge.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets.

Parking is free, but limited.

Off-site food, drinks and alcohol are prohibited.
