UPDATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the concert with Groove Kontrol scheduled for this evening on Henderson Lawn has been canceled.
Virginia Tech's School of Performing Arts and the Town of Blacksburg continue the Friday Night Outdoor Concert series with Groove Kontrol on Friday, July 16, 2021 on Henderson Lawn on the campus of Virginia Tech and across from The Lyric in downtown Blacksburg, VA.
Groove Kontrol came together about three years ago with the vision of playing music that everyone knows and loves. These talented musicians wanted to "take control of their groove," thus the name Groove Kontrol. They play a mixture of R&B, Soul, Blues and Classic Rock.
"Groove Kontrol performs the hits from the flip side of the record!"
