Radford Public Library presents a Radford Reads Program in person and on Facebook Live with Author Sarah Warburton on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.

Meet local author Sarah Warburton in person! Her first novel "Once Two Sisters" is about two estranged sisters. When one disappears, the other is implicated in this thrilling, fast-paced story. Her newest fiction book "You Can Never Tell" is due out on August 10, 2021. The event will also be streamed live on the Radford Public Library Facebook Page at https://www.facebook.com/radford.public.library.

Publisher's Weekly says, "Warburton delves deep into the psychological underpinnings of her believable characters in this highly entertaining domestic thriller."

Zoe Hallett and her sister, Ava, are the precocious offspring of two pioneering scientists, but the sisters have been estranged for years. When Zoe reads a news story about Ava's mysterious disappearance, she assumes it's just another of her sister's twisted fictions, designed to blame Zoe and destroy the peaceful life she's created with her husband and beautiful stepdaughter in Houston. But Zoe's email is hacked to send threatening messages to Ava and a more sinister picture begins to emerge.

Sarah D. Warburton is an author and writer who lives in the mountains of Southwest Virginia. For ten years she was the lead writer for the monthly magazine UpClose. She has studied writing with Pam Houston at the Taos Writers Workshop and with Justin Cronin in Houston. Her work has appeared in the Southern Arts Journal, Women on Writing, Embark Literary Magazine, and Oyster River Pages.

Her first novel, "ONCE TWO SISTERS", was a Publishers Weekly pick of the week, a Crimereads recommended debut, and a PopSugar featured title. Her second novel, "YOU CAN NEVER TELL", will be published August 2021 by Crooked Lane Books.
