Let's Code Blacksburg! presents an in-person Beginner and Intermediate Arduino Coding Workshop on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in the Concept Conference Room within the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center.

This three hour, hands on build and coding workshop is for the beginner to intermediate Arduino maker. We have all the hardware and software, you bring your self and a Windows, Mac or Linux laptop, with this Arduino coding software installed on it, and we'll provide the rest even free pizza and bottled water by our sponsor, the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center.

Activities to choose from include (easiest to hardest):

* IoT Environment Monitoring

Recommended for ages 10 & up. Parents are required to attend. No drop offs.

Attendees must bring your own laptop and power supply (per kit). Take-home activity handouts of Arduino project builds, code, parts list, and technical helpers all provided.

Masks are recommended.

Let’s Code Blacksburg! (LCBB) is a local technical group that has a two-fold purpose. First, we provide the opportunity for local residents to learn different programming languages and technologies at different levels (from beginner to advanced).

Secondly, Let's Code! gives people who have expertise in a particular tech field the opportunity to share their knowledge to build experience and become recognized as experts in the community.
