Solely Swing presents their first dance of the 2021 Fall Semester with their Virginia Tech Trivia Swing Dance on Saturday, September 4, 2021 inside the Commonwealth Ballroom located within the Squires Student Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Dance Schedule:
• 6:00-7:00 PM: Beginner Lindy Hop Lesson
• 7:00-9:00 PM: Social Dance

Solely Swing's first dance of the semester is a Virginia Tech Trivia puzzle! Dance with as many people as possible to collect clues and fill out the crossword puzzle. You'll be answering questions about general Virginia Tech trivia, as well as about Solely Swing.

After each dance, ask your partner if they have a clue. If they do, they'll tell you, if not, then it's time to dance with someone new! We have some fun prizes for our first three winners.

For this event, we encourage you to dress up in all of your Hokie apparel.

New to dancing? We'll help you learn the basics with our beginner lesson at 6:00 PM and keep you dancing til 9:00 PM. No partner or experience necessary.

All are welcome including the general public and admission is free.

There will be dancing, great music, and friendly faces!

Solely Swing is the swing dance club at Virginia Tech. Full of passionate, fun, and friendly dancers, we travel the world (or more accurately, the surrounding area) to learn new dance skills and theories and meet new people.

We invite you to come out to our dances at Virginia Tech and fall in love with our laid-back and welcoming dance scene!
