Not only book publishers use illustrators, but others such as advertising, film, newspaper commentary, and manufacturing industries use them as well. But how does a children’s book author such as Ms. Dakin work with an illustrator? The process is fascinating not only with the execution of the companion artwork, but also in the artist and author relationship, a story in itself.

This presentation is meant to be informative yet entertaining as well. If you appreciate children’s books and artistry, or if your business uses illustration, or if you are exploring jobs in the creative industry, you will find it interesting to hear about Ms. Dakin’s experience.
