The Town of Christiansburg presents their Rockin' Main Street Concert Series featuring music from Gate 10 and Lyn Avenue on Saturday, September 11, 2021 along West Main Street in downtown Christiansburg, VA.

Music Schedule:
• 5:00 PM: Gate 10
• 7:00 PM: Lyn Avenue

Join the party downtown! The Town of Christiansburg will be hosting Rockin' Main Street, a fun-for-all event with live music from Gate 10 and Lyn Avenue as well as beer, wine and food trucks! This event will also remember our first responder heroes!

A color guard will be present as we ask all those who have served their communities to stand while we say a few words in their honor, and one of our performers will be singing the National Anthem to recognize our heroes.

Born and raised in Savannah, GA, Lyn Avenue is a husband and wife Country and Americana duo bringing you catchy, compelling stories with genuine southern charm. Described as six string spirit and small town soul.

Over the last few years, Lyn Avenue has honed a sound that's both timeless in its classic-inspired songwriting yet refreshingly modern in its genre-blending and originality. Driven by rich vocals, electrifying leads, and boot stomping rhythms, Lyn Avenue is a burning ember of authentic country music.

Gate 10 is a highly energetic band that has written its own musical story using the tales of traditional bluegrass, the high energy of classic rock and the heartaches of old country music.

Coupling this with ages ranging from 11 to 22, they have a unique sound that is beyond their years. Located in Southwest Virginia, they have traveled around the south performing and enjoying every moment of it.

An assortment of beer and wine options will be available for purchase at this event. Please bring your IDs if you would like to purchase beer or wine.

Tables and chairs will be set up along Main Street. However, attendants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to sit at the square and watch the live music.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

But, even if you are away from the square enjoying food, a drink or mingling, you will still be able to hear and dance to the music!
