Claytor Lake State Park hosts the 2021 Shoreline Clean-Up on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

For Virginia Public Lands Day we are also working in conjunction with Clean Virginia Waterways to cleanup the park's shoreline around the beach. We will be recording data on what items are recovered as part of the International Coastal Cleanup.

Parking is free for Virginia Public Lands Day.

Please wear appropriate footwear which protects your entire foot. Gloves, masks, grabbers, trash bags, and data sheets will be supplied.
