The New River Valley Sheep and Goat Club presents the 1st Annual Greatest of All Time Sheep and Goat Festival on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Thee Draper Village on the Farm.

Learn all about sheep and goats including a live presentation of various breeds, a petting zoo, shearing demos, crafts for the kids, milking and spinning demonstrations, and plenty of products produced by Club Members in a fun family event.

Enjoy a full day of fun with live music, cooking demos, good food from the Draper Mercantile, straw bale maze, pumpkin painting, educational opportunities, and lots of other games and prizes. Come out for a day in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains, learn about the sheep & goat agribusiness benefits to the community!

Admission and parking are free. All are welcome.

The mission of the New River Valley Sheep & Goat club is to support and promote the sheep and goat agri-business throughout the region and provide education and appreciation of these breeds for the benefit of club members and the general public. As farmers, members are stewards of the land and believe it is important to raise healthy animals in a manner that improves their land, the community and the environment. The club welcomes all aspects of the sheep and goat breeds.

The New River Valley Sheep and Goat Club has over 200 member farms, and over 500 members, throughout the New River Valley as well as West Virginia and North Carolina.
