Description:
The Radford University Collegiate Recovery presents "Overcoming Shame to Find Success" with ESPN's Lauren Sisler on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 inside Bondurant Auditorium located within Preston Hall on the campus of Radford University.

Radford University's Collegiate Recovery Community is thrilled to be hosting ESPN's Lauren Sisler in honor of Recovery Month. Lauren is a native of Giles County and after graduating went to Rutgers University on a gymnastics scholarship, when suddenly during her freshman year, tragedy struck. Lauren lost both of her parents within hours of each other due to a fentanyl overdose.

Join us to hear Lauren's powerful story of breaking the stigma and shame of substance use and how she has been able to overcome and find success in her life and career.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Masks will be required at all times inside per Radford University campus policy.
