The Pearisburg Merchants Association presents the 6th Annual Pearisburg Scarecrow Festival on Saturday, October 2, 2021 on Wenonah Avenue and Tazewell Streets in downtown Pearisburg, VA.
This fun, family friendly, fall festival features live music, kids fun and activities throughout the day, food, vendors, Tron Nation strolling around through the festival and more! There will also be a Dog Show at 1:00 PM featuring dog tricks, costumes and more at the Giles County Courthouse lawn. And, there will be a car and motorcycle cruise-in.
Featured guests are the scarecrows, created by local businesses, organizations and groups, that will be displayed throughout the town.
Schedule of Events:
• 9:00 AM: Dance Motion Performs
• 9:00 AM: Car / Motorcyle Cruise-In begins
• 10:00 AM: Bobby Parker in Concert
• 11:00 AM: Giles County School of Dance Performs
• 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Tron Nation Walking Around Festival
• 12:00 PM: Bobby Parker in Concert
• 1:00 PM: Dog Show
• 1:00-2:00 PM: Tron Nation Walking Around Festival
• 2:30 PM: Tommy Griffith in Concert
Events at Gearhead Junction:
• 3:30 PM: Crystal River Band performs
• 6:00 PM: Common Ground performs
Admission is free and all are welcome. Some activities have an additional charges.
From 3:30-7:30 PM, head to Gearhead Junction located nearby for more live music from the Crystal River Band and Common Ground, beer garden and food.
Parking is available on the street or in parking lots off Tazewell Street and Mountain Lake Avenue.
