Description:
Virginia Tech Rec Sports presents the Thankful Three-Miler on Sunday, November 14, 2021 on the Virginia Tech Cross Country Course.

Get outside, move, and begin to reflect on the things you are thankful for before Thanksgiving Break. The run/walk will start and finish on Smithfield Road near the Corps of Cadets obstacle course. Registration is $20.00 per person and each participant will receive a long-sleeve shirt.

This event will be untimed and there will be no overall or age group awards. There will be a chance to win raffle prizes at the conclusion of the run/walk.

Participants will receive an email once registered with event information prior to that weekend.

As part of this event, Recreational Sports is partnering with VT Engage to collect nonperishable food items for The Market, a resource designed to provide food assistance to students who have a hard time obtaining regular, healthy meals. Participants are encouraged to bring a food item with them to donate before the three-miler.

Participants wishing to have their shirt in time for the event need to register by Monday, November 1st. All registrants after that date may have a delay in receiving their shirt.

There will not be event day or walk-up registration for this event. Registration closes on Friday, November 12th.
