The Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts - Music Department presents Music on Mondays with Soprano Katherine Whyte and Pianist Richard Masters on Monday, November 15, 2021 inside the Squires Recital Salon within the Squires Student Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Katherine Whyte has performed on opera and concert stages across her native Canada, the United States, and Europe. Opera Today has hailed her for her “keen artistic sensibility” while the San Francisco Classical Voice has praised her “her glamorous, vibrato-rich voice.”

School of Performing Arts Associate Professor Richard Masters is a soloist, opera coach, chamber musician, and orchestral pianist. His significant collaborations include concerts with baritone Donnie Ray Albert, flutist Valerie Coleman, mezzo-soprano Marta Senn, the late mezzo-soprano Barbara Conrad, and many others.

Tickets are $15.00 for the general public, $12.00 for seniors and $10.00 for students.

For the safety of our audiences and performers, masks are currently required for attendance at all School of Performing Arts indoor events, regardless of vaccination status.
