Wilderness Road Regional Museum presents a Book Talk with authors of "Writers by the River" Donia Eley and Grace Toney Edwards on Thursday, November 11, 2021.
Local writers Donia Eley and Grace Toney Edwards will discuss their new book "Writers By The River: Reflections On 40+ Years Of The Highland Summer Conference". The Highland Summer Conference, run by Radford University’s Appalachian Studies Program, has hosted Appalachia’s best poets and fiction writers. Donia and Grace will share their memories of the writers, the literary works, the students, and staff.
They will have books available for purchase and a book signing will follow.
Admission is free, but donations always help our mission of education and historic preservation.
