Radford Public Library presents Making Blankets with Project Linus on Saturday, November 20, 2021.

Every child deserves security, even if it’s just a security blanket. Project Linus is a non-profit with the mission of providing handmade blankets to children in need.

Lamplighters will provide materials, and Project Linus volunteers will provide tools and instruction for you to begin and complete a blanket to donate to a child in need during this event.

Supplies are limited, so you are also invited to bring your own supplies if you’re able (1&1/3 yards Blizzard Fleece in a child-friendly print).

Blankets will be completed with loop-through edging rather than knotting.

Participants must be age 14 or older.
